Hello there! We're glad you're interested in learning more about what we do here at brainacular. Expand the drop-down boxes below to read more about each of the services we offer. If you're interested in one of these services, or have a question that we haven't answered, head to the contact us page and reach out.
All of our tutors and mentors offer a unique learning experience, where we utilise your trial lesson to evaluate your learning style. We can then design lessons and plan a teaching schedule that is personalised to YOU. We also conduct regular evaluations and reviews, where we check in and see if we need to change the way we teach/mentor.
As students ourselves, we understand how scary it can be to be even a little bit behind in one of your subjects, or even how irritating it is to not be getting better marks despite putting in tons of effort. That's where private tutors come in. Brainacular's tutors are skilled at making sure that you get from wherever you are to wherever you want to be. We sit down with you and design a personalised plan that works for YOU, and ensures you fill any gaps, master exam practice and reach for the stars.

Our tutors are trained in delivering content, and have access to high-quality resources to help you succeed. They also have advisers to guide them when they aren't sure of what they can do to support you. Tutors are also students too, and as said by many of our ex-students, our tutors know how to keep students engaged, especially if this is something you struggle with.
Here at brainacular, we make sure our tutors are teaching to the highest standard possible. This standardisation process means that we maintain a strong flow of communication with parents and students, to help us measure whether or not you are getting the most out of your private tutor.

Whether you're a beginner student, or know the basics and want to start heading towards fluency, our languages tutor is prepared to help you
We offer one to one and group lessons to help you learn English. We are here to help you whether its for an English exam(e.g. for a Visa) or if you just want to learn for yourself, we are dedicated to getting you where you want to be.

There are numerous studies out there that demonstrate the benefits of speaking mutliple languages. If you want to start your multilingual journey, why not allow Brainacular to help you! We have an expert Spanish teacher, who is not only trained in the overall Spanish language, but has experience working with the different accents and regions of different Spanish speaking countries. They also have extensive knowledge of Spanish history and culture(both current and past).
Whether you're interested in learning for fun, or are preparing for any upcoming school exams in the language, we're here to guide you.
Why choose us rather than learning independently? Having someone guide you through the journey of learning a new language prevents you from getting distracted and losing focus, Your tutor would also be able to teach you exactly the things you want to know, rather than you learning words and phrases you'd never need to use in a realistic situation.
Spanish lessons can be weekly, bi-weekly, or whatever suits your needs. Lessons start from £20, but varies based on how exactly we can help you. Before diving in, your first session with your tutor will be dedicated towards evaluating where you are at the moment, so that the tutor knows how to design future sessions.
As well as one-to-one lessons, we offer group classes, if you'd be interested in learning Spanish with a group, reach out and we'll see what we have available.
Whether you're interested or not fully sure, a free trial session won't harm you, so book one today!
Do you or your child have exams upcoming next year? Are you about to start your GCSEs or A-Levels and have no idea what it's going to be like? We offer holiday camps to help you make the most of your summer. If you've got upcoming exams, your summer will consist of fun and engaging content revision sessions, as well as guides to exam practice and the top marks. If you're about to start a new chapter in your academic journey, you'll be spending your summer bridging the gap and getting your brain ready for what's ahead. We'll go over what you'll be learning, what skills you'll need to get the top marks, and we'll even give you some tips to help you juggle all the stress that's ahead of you. If you've not got much on, but you still want to keep your brain active over summer, we offer programming camps/sessions which are designed to turn you into all things software by the end of it: Web development, Programming, Basic Logic, Game development and design.
Our camps are delivered by soon-to-be university students, who are passionate about what they teach. Most camps will be led by either one or two "coaches", who'll manage the entire summer - These leaders are DBS checked. These coaches will deliver the sessions and maintain communication with you about how the camp is going. For those with strong attendance to all sessions, certificates will be issued.
Camps are run online, cheaply priced and can be booked via eventbrite.
At the moment, we are planning out how the 2025 summer will look. Send us an email at brainacular@gmail.com if you're interested in a particular camp, and we can keep you updated on whether that'll be going ahead.
Examples of camps we run:
GCSE or A-Level bridging sessions in Computer Science or Mathematics (You don't need to have done GCSE Computer Science to attend A-Level bridging)
Coding Camp for 12+ year olds.
(If we receive enough/any interest in additional camps, we can provide these)
Mentors are individuals who are able to guide you towards a goal you are aiming to meet. If you're looking for someone who can help you pick the right University, who can guide you in getting the perfect CV or simply someone who can keep you on track with your academic deadlines, we can help!
Mentors would sit down with you over video conference once a month (or more frequently if that's what you need), and will thoroughly discuss how you're progressing, and may give you tasks and assignments to help you achieve your aspirations. Brainacular offers mentorship in the following areas:
CV Writing
Interview Prep (Job, College or University)
GCSE Subject Choice
A Level/Post-16 pathway Subject Choice
Sixth Form/College Choice

Is your child about to sit some important exams? Are you not sure how you can support them? We offer parental engagement workshops regularly, designed to help you understand what your child is about to go through, and how you can ensure their time at home is best spent preparing for their exams. These workshops usually consist of a speaker who will walk you through how the examination process works, and what YOU can do to make sure they do their best, without stressing them out. The session will then be open for Q&A, and parents will also be briefly informed of brainacular's tutoring programme, should they need it.
We are currently planning the following parental workshops, all of which are free of charge to attend - Press one to confirm your attendance via eventbrite:
Parents of GCSE students
Parents of A-Level students
Parents of GCSE Computer Science students
Parents of A-Level Computer Science students
